Make every workout count with your iPhone/iPod touch and your metabolic profile from New Leaf. Exercise at the right intensity in your personalized cardio training zones as you continually monitor TRU calories (total) and fat calories to get “real results” for any health, weight management, fitness or athletic performance.
iNewLeaf will take the results of your metabolic data (via eNewleaf.com) and turn your iPhone or iPod touch into a fitness tracker/monitor. Your workouts, heart rate zones, caloric expenditures are automatically synced when you set up your iNewLeaf account. With the help of the Digifit™ Connect (available from Digifit Ecosystem), various fitness measurements can be WIRELESSLY recorded directly to your dashboard on your iPhone or iPod touch. These variables include:
- Heart Rate (compatible with Garmin ANT+ or Polar)
- Time in target zones
- TRUcal (total calories expended) and Fatcal (fat calories expended)
- Cadence
- Speed
- Distance
- Power
- Zone alerts (to change intensity)
The process begins with the assessment. This 8–12 minute cardiovascular assessment will identify exactly where your heart rate needs to be to maximize your time, efficiency, and cardiovascular fitness. Next, your assessment data is uploaded to eNewLeaf.com. Here you can view assessment data, view cardiovascular workouts, communicate with your fitness trainer and more. Next, download the Digifit Ecosystem application to turn your iPhone or iPod touch into a highly evolved fitness monitor and tracking computer. Pull your data in from eNewLeaf to personalize your zones with your own metabolic training plan. Select a workout from your imported choices. iNewLeaf will guide you through the workout, signaling when to change zones. After completion of your workout, upload your workout data directly back to eNewLeaf where you can view real heart rate data, exact TRU (total) and fat calories expended, as well as an indicator on how well you followed your program.
